Lake Central Blows Out Merrillville Thanks To Big First Inning
Lake Central Varsity – 2021 put up seven runs in the first on its way to an 11-1 victory over Merrillville on Tuesday. Josh Adamczewski, Matt Santana, Colin Mason, Blake Neyhart, and Griffin Tobias each drove in runs during the inning.
Lake Central Varsity – 2021 got things started in the first inning when Adamczewski doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
Ethan Knopf led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Lake Central Varsity – 2021. Knopf went five innings, allowing one run on one hit, striking out eight and walking one.
