Two Lake Central Pitchers Combine To Defeat Merrillville In Shutout Game
Lake Central Varsity – 2021 defeated Merrillville 10-0 on Wednesday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Connor Misch induced a groundout from Austin Pupek to finish off the game.
Lake Central Varsity – 2021 opened up scoring in the first inning. Lake Central Varsity – 2021 scored one run when Hunter Snyder tripled.
Lake Central Varsity – 2021 notched three runs in the third inning. Graham Weber, Jacob Warn, and Griffin Tobias all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
A single by Pupek in the first inning was a positive for Merrillville.
