Indians Claim Blowout Victory Over Vikings

Lake Central Indians Varsity easily dispatched Valparaiso 13-4 on Wednesday

Lake Central Indians Varsity opened up scoring in the first inning. Carra, J drove in two when Carra, J singled.

Lake Central Indians Varsity put up four runs in the second inning. Lake Central Indians Varsity batters contributing to the big inning included Adamczewski, JWeber, G, and Carra, J, all driving in runs in the frame.

Mercer, G was the winning pitcher for Lake Central Indians Varsity. The pitcher surrendered four runs on six hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out three. Sivak, B threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Jimmie Shifflett took the loss for Valparaiso. Shifflett allowed six hits and eight runs over three innings, walking one.

Miles Cvelbar led Valparaiso with two hits in three at bats.
