Five RBI Day For Weber Seals The Deal In Indians Victory Over La Porte
Weber, G was clutch at the plate with runners on base on Wednesday, driving in five on three hits to lead Lake Central Indians Varsity past La Porte 12-2 on Wednesday. Weber, G drove in runs on a single in the third, a single in the fourth, and a home run in the sixth.
La Porte got things started in the first inning. Rj Anglin drove in two when Anglin singled.
Lake Central Indians Varsity pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Weber, G singled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs and O’Bryan, Q singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
Lake Central Indians Varsity put up six runs in the sixth inning. Lake Central Indians Varsity offense in the inning was led by Szatkowski, M, Adamczewski, J, Snyder, H, and Weber, G, who each had RBIs in the inning.
Sivak, B earned the win for Lake Central Indians Varsity. Sivak, B allowed six hits and two runs over five innings, striking out four and walking one. Mercer, G threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Grant Olson took the loss for La Porte. The pitcher surrendered four runs on three hits over three and a third innings, striking out three.
Lake Central Indians Varsity hit one home run on the day. Weber, G had a four bagger in the sixth inning.
Weber, G led Lake Central Indians Varsity with three hits in five at bats. Lake Central Indians Varsity was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Santana, M had the most chances in the field with five.
La Porte saw the ball well today, racking up seven hits in the game. Anglin and Carter Mises each collected multiple hits for La Porte. Anglin went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead La Porte in hits.
