LC Defeats Chesterton 8-2

Lake Central Indians Varsity blew out Chesterton 8-2 on Tuesday.

Lake Central Indians Varsity opened up scoring in the first inning, when Weber, G drew a walk, scoring one run.

Lake Central Indians Varsity notched three runs in the second inning. Lake Central Indians Varsity offense in the inning was led by Snyder, H and Carra, J, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Tobias, G got the win for Lake Central Indians Varsity. The righthander surrendered two runs on five hits over six innings, striking out ten. Cuevas, A threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Kasper took the loss for Chesterton. The hurler lasted three innings, allowing six hits and five runs while striking out six.

Lake Central Indians Varsity collected 12 hits on the day. Weber, GCarra, JSantana, MSnyder, H, and Adamczewski, J each racked up multiple hits for Lake Central Indians VarsityWeber, G went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Lake Central Indians Varsity in hits. Lake Central Indians Varsity didn’t commit a single error in the field. Santana, M had ten chances in the field, the most on the team.

Foust led Chesterton with three hits in four at bats.
