Lake Central Indians Varsity wins contest against Bowling Green, 6-2

Lake Central Indians Varsity got things moving in the first inning. Lake Central Indians Varsity scored one run when Connor Misch singled.

Lake Central Indians Varsity notched four runs in the third inning. The rally was led by singles by Brenden Smith and Joey Carra and a triple by Misch.

Ethan Knopf led the Lake Central Indians Varsity to victory on the pitcher’s mound. The pitcher lasted five innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out seven. Josh Warn threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Patrick Forbes took the loss for Bowling Green. The pitcher surrendered six runs on six hits over five innings, striking out five.

Lake Central Indians Varsity had seven hits in the game. Misch and Hunter Snyder all managed multiple hits for Lake Central Indians VarsitySnyder and Misch each collected two hits to lead Lake Central Indians VarsityLake Central Indians Varsity didn’t commit a single error in the field. Peyton Gard had the most chances in the field with seven.

Blake Ginter went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Bowling Green in hits. Bowling Green didn’t commit a single error in the field. Ethan Madison had five chances in the field, the most on the team.
