LC’s Misch Throws No-Hitter To Defeat Merrillville

Connor Misch was brilliant on the pitcher’s mound on Tuesday, as Misch threw a no-hitter to lead Lake Central Indians Varsity past Merrillville 14-0.

Misch led Lake Central Indians Varsity to victory by driving in six runs. Misch went 3-for-4 at the plate. Misch drove in runs on a triple in the first, a home run in the third, and a triple in the fourth.

In the first inning, Lake Central Indians Varsity got their offense started when Misch tripled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Lake Central Indians Varsity scored five runs in the third inning. Matt Santana and Misch each drove in runs during the inning.

Misch led the Lake Central Indians Varsity to victory on the hill. Misch went five innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits and striking out 11.

Andrew Early took the loss for Merrillville. The hurler surrendered 11 runs on nine hits over three innings, striking out one.

Lake Central Indians Varsity launched one home run on the day. Misch had a long ball in the third inning.

Lake Central Indians Varsity collected 14 hits on the day. MischHunter Snyder, and Santana all managed multiple hits for Lake Central Indians VarsityMisch went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Lake Central Indians Varsity in hits. Lake Central Indians Varsity didn’t commit a single error in the field. Santana had 11 chances in the field, the most on the team.
