Pangburn Shuts Out Chesterton

Conor Pangburn threw a shutout to lead Lake Central Indians Varsity past Chesterton 13-0 on Tuesday.

Connor Misch led Lake Central Indians Varsity to victory by driving in four runs. Misch went 3-for-5 at the plate. Misch drove in runs on a single in the third, a home run in the sixth, and a double in the seventh.

One bright spot for Chesterton was a single by Gvovnseu in the first inning.

Pangburn was the winning pitcher for Lake Central Indians Varsity. The righthander went seven innings, allowing zero runs on four hits, striking out seven and walking one.

Donley took the loss for Chesterton. The hurler allowed three hits and two runs over three and a third innings, striking out two.

Kasper started the game for Chesterton. Kasper allowed seven hits and seven runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out three

Lake Central Indians Varsity hit one home run on the day. Misch put one out in the sixth inning.

Lake Central Indians Varsity collected 13 hits. MischHunter SnyderJosh Adamczewski, and Matt Santana all managed multiple hits for Lake Central Indians VarsityMisch led Lake Central Indians Varsity with three hits in five at bats.

Gvovnseu went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Chesterton in hits.
