Lake Central Clinches Lead In Extra Innings To Defeat Chesterton

Lake Central Indians Varsity ran off with the lead late in the game in a 2-1 victory over Chesterton on Wednesday. The game was tied at one with Lake Central Indians Varsity batting in the top of the tenth when Weber, G singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Lake Central Indians Varsity pitchers struck out 13, while Chesterton pitchers sat down 13.

Chesterton got things started in the second inning when an error scored one run for Chesterton.

Carrett went 2-for-5 at the plate to lead Chesterton in hits.
