Lake Central Indians Varsity Slides Into A Blow-Out Win Over Portage Central

Lake Central Indians Varsity easily did away with Portage Central 10-2 on Saturday

Lake Central Indians Varsity got things started in the second inning. Warn, J singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Luke Okeefe earned the victory on the mound for Lake Central Indians Varsity. The righthander surrendered two runs on three hits over three innings, striking out one. Zack Nicola threw four innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Easton Hayward took the loss for Portage Central. Hayward allowed five hits and five runs over three and a third innings, striking out one.

Cathedral Runs Away With Early Lead In Victory

Lake Central Indians Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 9-0 loss to Cathedral on Saturday. Cathedral scored on a single by J.T. Stiner in the first inning.

The Lake Central Indians Varsity struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Cathedral, giving up nine runs.

Cathedral stole five bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Patrick Mazur led the way with three.
