Lake Central Takes Victory Over Crown Point, 8-3

Lake Central Indians Varsity was victorious over Crown Point, 8-3

Lake Central Indians Varsity fired up the offense in the first inning, when Connor Misch singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

Lake Central Indians Varsity tallied four runs in the sixth inning. Lake Central Indians Varsity‘s offense in the inning came from singles by Josh Adamczewski and Garrett Weber and a double by Joey Carra.

Conor Pangburn earned the victory on the hill for Lake Central Indians Varsity. The righthander allowed five hits and three runs over six innings, striking out seven and walking one. Griffin Tobias threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Gabe Stout took the loss for Crown Point. Stout went four innings, allowing four runs on six hits and striking out two.

Lake Central Indians Varsity collected ten hits. Misch and Hunter Snyder all had multiple hits for Lake Central Indians VarsityMisch led Lake Central Indians Varsity with three hits in five at bats.

Crown Point collected five hits on the day. Eric Santaguida and Stout each collected multiple hits for Crown Point.
