Lake Central Clinches Lead In Sixth Inning For Victory Over Penn

Lake Central Indians Varsity ran off with the lead late in the game in a 4-3 victory over Penn on Saturday. The game was tied at three with Lake Central Indians Varsity batting in the bottom of the sixth when Ethan Knopf singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

Lake Central Indians Varsity got on the board in the first inning when Connor Misch doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Blake Sivak was the winning pitcher for Lake Central Indians Varsity. The pitcher allowed four hits and three runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out eight and walking zero. Josh Warn threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Mason Campbell took the loss for Penn. The pitcher went five innings, allowing three runs on six hits, striking out four and walking one.

Misch went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Lake Central Indians Varsity in hits.
